The purpose of this vessel is to survey and map shallow coastlines and archipelagos where the seabed may only be a few meters below the vessel. The low draft angle of the hull allows this boat to operate in far shallower waters than would be otherwise possible with a standard or deep-v hull.
The cabin is fitted to accommodate two pilots and up to four crew scientists. along with all the survey equipment including sonar, echosounder, radar, etc.

This vessel utilises twin inboard motors and large fuel tanks, giving it enough power to cover large areas
of coastline each session.
The use of inboards, along with contra-rotating
propellors, allow the props to never be lower than the
deepest part of the hull.
